WEAKNESSES: arithmancy, being really social, dancing, accepting failure
PERSONALITY: Emmeline was always a shy child. She didn't have any siblings to rough her up, steal her attention, or socialize with. She had her grandmother, who would put her to work with chores and her grandfather, who'd put her to work on projects to keep her busy and still having fun, and not thinking too much about her mother not being around, or her father being dead. It worked, because Emmeline got very good at dishes and very good at making birdhouses.
Emmeline's shyness never quite disappeared throughout the years. She joined a muggle primary school to try and get her to get better at socializing, but it didn't really work, because she couldn't talk about magic and she soon got taken out. She has always wished for siblings, but she knew it would never happen because her mother never remarried and wasn't a slag. As Emmeline got older and got into Hogwarts, she finally got over most of her shyness. Though she still gets nervous when she gets around a cute guy or speaks in public or anything like that.
She has gotten more competitive over the years, especially after joining the quidditch team. And especially with trying to get top grades to make her mother proud, and to know that her father would be proud of her. She's also got the fact that she is going to be an auror and that she wants to be the best she can ever be, and the top auror one day.

MOTHER: Mary Jane (Howardson) Vance, 40, Auror, Order member, Gryffindor
FATHER: Johnathon Gregory Vance, would be 42, Former Auror, Deceased (would be an order member), Ravenclaw
SIBLINGS: only child
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: Rem and Miff and everyone in the order who are friends with her parents
BIRTHPLACE: Cardiff, Wales
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Hogwarts/Cardiff Wales
HISTORY: Mary Jane Howardson was taken with Johnathon Vance when she was only fourteen. He was two years older, and though the girl was quite brave when it came to dueling and flying, she was terrified when it came to boys. But the elder Ravenclaw was cute, sensitive, smart, and nice. He didn't seem like he could hurt a fly, unless it came to protecting those who deserved it. It took him another year to notice the younger Gryffindor, when she beat him to the snitch in a game of quidditch after her second game that she'd been on the team in her fifth year. He thought if anyone was that good at quidditch, and still humble, she deserved to have attention.
The two started talking around december of that year, and it turned into a friendship that would last a life time, and eventually turn into something more. Johnathon did not ask Mary Jane to be his until she had graduated Hogwarts. She was seventeen, he nineteen. They dated for five years before he popped the question. He wasn't in any rush, and neither was she. They were best friends who fell in love, but they didn't need rings to prove their love. They were engaged for only seven months, and were married for two years when Mary Jane ended up pregnant with Emmeline. The two were ecstatic, happy to have a baby girl when MJ was 24.
Emma was born on a cold, blizzard like night on January 29, 1961. She was the only child to be born between her parents. She had a full head of hair on her head at birth, jet black, just like her fathers, which match his hazel eyes. Everything else was just like her mother. For two years, their family was perfect. Johnathon had been an auror for seven years by the time his daughter was two. He had been sent on a mission, and for the first time, didn't come back, along with twelve other men. Voldemort's followers had killed them all.
After the death of her husband, Mary Jane moved back in with her parents, where she and Emma lived for a few years until they could get on their feet financially. Instead of moping around, MJ took this as an initiative to get involved in the war. She became an auror, like her husband before her, and eventually joined the Order of the Phoenix. Emma stayed with her grandparents most of the time, since her mother had become an activist. Her mother did not neglect her for her job, but Emma always understood that she was doing thins for the better.
Emma was always a quiet child. She felt bad for not remembering her father, since she was only two when he died. She was enrolled in a muggle primary school, just to keep her around kids her own age to play with, since she had no siblings. She always felt sad seeing other kids dad's pick them up, but eventually other members of the order became her second family, and she played with their kids and got more socialized as a young child. She was taken out of muggle schools. The muggle kids just didn't understand what it was like to be her friend, because she wasn't a muggle.
When Emmeline's Hogwarts letter finally came when she was 11 she was the happiest she'd ever been. She wasn't a sad child, but she was finally going to be in a school where everyone and everything was magical, and have friends her age. She was sorted into Ravenclaw almost the moment the sorting hat was on her head. She couldn't have been more proud to be in the house of her great father before her. She had kept quiet for the majority of her younger school years, but like her parents before her she became the keeper for the Ravenclaw team in her fifth year.
It wasn't until her fifth year that Emmeline realized that she wanted to follow in bother her parents footsteps even more and become an auror. She had always been a brilliant girl, and studied to do good on all her O.W.L.s she needed to continue on and be an auror, and never let anything get in her way, even cute boys she was attracted to. The idea of falling in love terrifies her, because of her parents, and the fact that she knows what she plans to do with her life, and doesn't want to ever leave anyone sad if she were to die like her father.

RP SAMPLE: Tristan couldn't help but smile at some of the memories he'd had from his past bar experiences. He and Steph had first met because their friends had set them up on a blind date. It was a little awkward and weird, but they'd tried to go out on a couple more dates, but they just didn't have anything between them. After four failed dates, they'd decided to just stop trying, and somewhere along the line had created their game. They'd both turned out to be super competitive, and they'd spent the rest of the night collecting phone numbers and trying to one up each other. And thus their game and friendship/siblinghood had been created. "It's generally fun to get out with some mates and have fun just messing around. I'm sure you've had your own fun too," he said, but not bothering to ask. Girls didn't talk about it like guys did.
He couldn't help but smile at the memory, even though it still made him a bit sad. He didn't get why Tabitha had left, but she'd taken some of his things with her. Or at least he thought she did, he'd been missing some old sweatshirts when she left. But he could have lost them himself. He wasn't entirely sure. Alice in Wonderland is so girly. Most girls would enjoy it, and I do believe the tea party couldn't be a girlier chapter to love," he said, smiling. Of course it was girly, it was a girly story. But he would of course give her some crap about it. "I liked more manly stories when I was a lad. You know, Winnie-The-Pooh all the way." He actually knew for a fact his mother still had the complete tales of said bear sitting on a book shelf to one day read to his children. He'd never admit he as glad she kept it.
Tristan's uncle made him sad when he thought about him. He had always brought him and Justin presents, and it was always something cool. People had called Tristan crazy for wanting to go into the cursebreaking profession. He had seen his uncle's funeral when he was only twelve. Why would he want to do that? Because his uncle loved it. "Well he loved it so much. He would always have the coolest stories, the best presents, and great adventures. To a twelve year old... Well it doesn't sound like it gets much better. And then... Well he died, but I know he never would have stopped if he'd only been hurt, and well...." he motioned to his arms. He didn't plan to stop either.
No, Tabitha, you don't have the right to be upset that I have a life that didn't revolve around you! You left me. What was I supposed to think? I know I sure as hell wasn't cheating on you? You up and leave, no fucking trace as to where the hell you went or reason? My sex life without you is none of your damned business!" he yelled, which was true. She had left him, why would she care who he slept with? Tabitha was keeping him from leaving. He didn't even give a damn about his arms anymore, the sight of Tabitha was making him sick and pissed off. He wanted nothing more than to be out of here. "YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS TABITHA! You just said not even two minutes ago that you did what you thought was right, which was leaving me and not telling me about Teagan! But you have the nerve to sit here and say that you didn't think it was right to keep her from me?"
He had gone back to pacing at that point, and had turned his back on her. He looked at the picture of Teagan. She looked just like Tabitha. Why hadn't he seen that it was her when he first got here? She hadn't changed that much, but he wasn't looking very hard. He was about to turn around and start talking again when another voice cut across. He turned slowly to see Teagan live and in person. His daughter. She was beautiful. She was his. He looked Tabby, then back to Teagan. "I'm not being mean to your mommy.... We were.... Just talking. Catching up. It's been a while since I've seen her..." He couldn't look at Teagan as he was saying this. He noticed that she was holding an old stuffed monkey, that looked very warn out. It was green and blue. He thought it looked familiar, when he noticed that it was the one he'd given Tabitha all those many years ago. He didn't know what he was supposed to do. Yes she was his daughter... But he was no father. Tabby picked Teagan up and looked at him. "Tabitha..."
