Besides the joke shop, I was probably the most popular shop in the whole village. Because, who didn't like sweets? Alice really liked her sweets and would live off of then if she could (until she got tired of the stuff). She didn't buy much on her visits to the store considering she came to Hogsmeade almost every weekend with her friend Frank. Alice had been friends with Frank for as long as she could remember and she considered herself truly lucky to have such a great friend. But there was a little more to it, really. She wasn't exactly sure when she first realized she liked Frank but it felt like forever. It seemed like it was mutual at times. The way he might have glanced at her or what not might have set her off, thinking he liked her back. Now things were clearer, slightly. Technically, Frank and Alice were together now for nothing more than a few weeks, maybe. Frank had surprised her by asking her out and she had to admit it was one of the few times in her live where she had felt shy or bashfully embarrassed. It had really caught her off guard. Never in a million years would she have thought he would ask her out, let alone ask her to the upcoming autumn gala. Frank had always been the shyer out of the two of them. Their relationship was moving slowly, maybe glacially from other people's perspectives. However, Alice found it just find for them; the perfect pace. Although, she often found herself tempted to just reach up and kiss him, which wouldn't be unlikely on her part, but she didn't want to. In all honesty, Frank was her first boyfriend. She had never been with another guy, never had a relationship and had never been kissed. She held herself back from making the next move because she secretly wanted him to kiss her first, for her first kiss. It was the really girly part of her that held in to that little spark. Even though they were at Hogsmeade together, technically on a date, the way they put it, the pair didn't come to the village together before their courtship which made this hardly feel like a date. But Alice enjoyed as much time as she could get with Frank, knowing this was his last year at Hogwarts. Boyfriend or not, not having Frank around the next year would be difficult. Alice peered her head around one of the candy shelves holding up a carton of sweets up. "Look! They've brought back Gooey Gummy Gobblestones!" She announced, walking around the shelves and looking over the box, front to back and stopped next to Frank. tag: boots! notes: meh but fralice!! template by eliza @ shadowplay & shine |
